Cairo Day Trip from Sharm El Sheikh – Grand Egyptian Museum & Giza Pyramids

Your day begins with an early pick-up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh. You will be transferred in a private air-conditioned vehicle to Sharm Airport for your short flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, your professional Egyptologist guide will meet you and start your tour.

Your first stop is the Grand Egyptian Museum, Egypt’s newest cultural landmark located near the Giza Pyramids. Inside the Grand Hall, you'll see the impressive statue of King Ramses II and a selection of significant artifacts displayed with modern lighting and world-class presentation.
Your guide will introduce you to key pieces from different periods of Ancient Egypt, giving you a clear and engaging understanding of Egypt’s long history. The GEM combines advanced technology with classic heritage, making it one of the most important museums in the world today.

After the museum, continue to the famous Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. Your guide will explain how these ancient wonders were constructed and the stories behind the pharaohs who built them.
You will also visit the Great Sphinx, one of Egypt’s most iconic monuments, carved from a single piece of limestone. The plateau offers excellent panoramic views—ideal for unforgettable photos. Optional camel rides are available for guests who want a traditional desert experience.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with views of the pyramids.

At the end of your tour, you will be transferred back to Cairo Airport for your return flight to Sharm. Upon arrival, our representative will drive you back to your hotel.
